Question 30: Factorize the polynomial \(\begin{aligned} &(xy)^{2}+4(xy)-12 \end{aligned}\) into factors:





\(\begin{aligned} &(xy)^{2}+4(xy)-12 \\ &=(xy)^{2}+4(xy)+4-16 \\ &=(x-y) +2)^{2}-16 \\ &=(x-y+2+4)(x-y+2-4) \\ &=(x-y+6)(xy-2) \end{ aligned}\)
